Question by : What’s the difference between regular wifi and 3g?
I’m buying a kindle and I’d like to know the difference between the Kindle wifi and the Kindle wifi + 3g. Would it be worth buying the Kindle 3g for $ 50 more?
FYI you don’t have to pay any extra for the 3g connection. Amazon provides free 3g wireless for the kindle wifi + 3g.

it depends. 3g means that it can get internet in any internet hotspot(cellphone towers), while wifi means you need a wifi hotspot, such as one in your home if you have wireless internet, or hotels, restraurants, etc. if you are going to be on the road a lot and on the internet it might be worth it, but if you’re just staying at home with it, the wifi version will be fine

not the best but the concept is awsome!!,
I was very skeptical before buying this product. if you ask me why??? then its because I know some people that use solar chargers to back up their phone battery during emergency and they say it barely charges their phone even if you charge if all day.
Honestly, I don’t know anything about what this battery capacity exactly works.
I also thought this product is bit too much pricey for what it is compare to other solar chargers that are out on the market.
when I received this package I went out to my yard to get the direct sunlight and I put this charger for the test. I use iPhone and
my battery was almost dead and it was perfect for this test. I left it outside for while (im guessing maybe 6-7 hours) and
it went up to 50% battery. Now I wouldn’t say this charges quick or you can charge with this in your basement but charging from 8%
up to 50% for 6-7 hours with mere sunlight??? I really thought it was awesome. It does take awhile to charge your phone with this charger and
I still need to test this for my ipod or other gadgets I can use this with but i don’t regret my decision for paying this price for getting this charger.
Now if you are a hardcore outdoor person, I highly recommend this for daily use (if you enjoy hiking, going to the beach, etc.)
as you will get the direct sunlight out in the open area during day time. but if you work in the office or usually don’t hang around outside too much, I would use it for emergency back up battery charger.
(you can store battery from the sunlight by itself and with that battery you can use this to charge your phone during the night!!)
Anyways here is my idea about this product.
Pros=will never need electricity
you can use it anywhere
you can store battery during daylight and use it at night time.
never go out of battery.
Cons=little pricey on the price
need sunlight to actually charge (you can still charge it on a gloomy day but it will take more time to charge)
only 4types of plugs or jacks included in the package.
I’ve been using this for not more than couple days now but so far I love it!!!! so I’ll give this a 5
but you never know.. I would have to update this review if this thing gets broken down lol!!

This reading light is the best one I’ve yet found for the new Kindles (Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 6″ Display, Graphite, 3G Works Globally – Latest Generation) with the smaller case. It’s footprint is about right to clip to the edge of the case without obstructing the screen, and the illumination of the screen is uniform. Further, it is lightweight, compact, and grips the case nicely so that it doesn’t slip. Price is right, too.

|Nice light but poorly designed neck,
Casts a nice, bright light; unit is small and lightweight; but the flexible goose-neck needs some backbone! – terribly “floppy” – will not hold to the position you set/desire. Bottom line: excellent light, terrific price, but poor execution make this only a so-so product… and hence a disappointment.
